experience :: as of spring 2008

I have an extensive background in office and project administration (for both small and large businesses). I have been a [professional administrative provider] for over 10 years now and have worked in various fields including: computers + technology, manufacturing, governmental, medical, food, interior design, architecture, + construction. Some of the positions I have held were performed simultaneously for different employers (crossing different fields); while others were long term positions where I was committed to one employer – the longest being 4 years. In addition to these roles, for the last 5 years, I have also acted as the virtual ministry administrator for a religious organization located in NC.

Since 2000, I have focused my attention on the field of Architecture (including Construction), + have been fortunate to be able to provide support to a few highly regarded + successful architecture firms in the commercial profession! My positions among these employers ranged from Interiors + Marketing Support, to Administrative Support, to Project Administrator, to Office Manager; sometimes with a little of everything thrown in! I gained a great deal of knowledge of + exposure to the commercial design industry + the processes/procedures involved in managing multi-million dollar projects – both in the private + governmental sectors.

All of this said, I am certainly open to providing [administrative solutions] to anyone or any business in any field; as I know my experience in the administrative profession in general has prepared me for providing services to anyone in need of such assistance!

As the owner of a support-providing company, I have a responsibility to my clients to meet + exceed their expectations.

I have been fortunate in my years of providing administrative services as an employee – most of my employers gave me the freedom to develop my skills in a way that laid a foundation for the kind of business I endeavor to run. For the most part, I was able to establish standards + procedures for my previous employers that reflect the kind of core values I try to uphold in every challenge I am presented with.

Honesty, dependability, responsiveness, and a non-compromising nature are important character traits when it comes to doing [what is best] for my company, because ultimately, these standards will filter down into the relationships I have with each of my clients, no doubt providing the best results for them in the process!

It may go without saying, but it is important to note that a successful working partnership with me will involve [communication] + collaboration on all parts!

Just a factoid for anyone reading - when I was younger, I was also employed in fields such as commercial + residential cleaning, organized childcare, customer service, inventory assessment, and telemarketing. I think from a young age, these particular jobs helped me develop the communication + problem-solving skills that I use today!

Oh, + in case you are interested, High School Diploma aside... my educational background includes Computer Science and Interior Design – though no college degrees were ever obtained.
